Bank Teller (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Guthrie, OK

Pay Rate: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour

Job Type: Temporary-to-Hire

Position Summary

We are currently partnering with a well-respected local financial institution in Guthrie to find a friendly, customer-focused Bank Teller. This is an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the banking industry. In this role, you will serve as the face of the institution, providing exceptional service while accurately handling daily financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Relations: Greet customers warmly, build positive relationships, and provide professional assistance with banking needs and inquiries.
• Transaction Processing: Accurately process cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
• Drawer Management: Maintain a secure cash drawer, balance currency daily, and ensure accurate balancing records.
• Product Promotion: Identify customer financial needs and introduce basic bank products and services.
• Security & Compliance: Strictly adhere to institutional security procedures, privacy regulations, and operational guidelines.

Schedule & Requirements

• Schedule: Monday through Saturday availability.
  
  • Monday - Friday: Shifts are scheduled for a 40-hour workweek within the operational window of 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Saturday: Mandatory half-day rotation on Saturdays.
• Experience: Previous cash handling, retail, or customer service experience is strongly preferred.

  • Strong basic math and computer literacy.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Dependable attendance and a professional demeanor.
