E-Commerce Marketing Specialist

Ashland, Oregon | In office four days per week, one remote.

The Mission

Strong e-commerce advertising is not about launching campaigns and hoping they work. It is about watching performance closely, making smart adjustments, and knowing where the next improvement is likely to come from.

We're looking for an E-Commerce Marketing Specialist who can manage the daily execution behind paid e-commerce campaigns and promotions. You'll monitor performance, optimize keywords and budgets, track promotional activity, turn reporting into action, and help the team identify better ways to reach sales goals.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for someone who likes the combination of numbers and execution: you notice when performance shifts, investigate why, make thoughtful changes, and keep the details moving across multiple campaigns and deadlines.

What You'll Do

• Own Daily Campaign Health. Manage and monitor PPC campaigns, including keyword research, budget pacing, visibility, impression share, and other key performance signals.
• Optimize, Don't Just Observe. Use campaign data to identify wasted spend, performance opportunities, and practical changes that improve efficiency and support sales goals.
• Run Promotions Reliably. Monitor promotional activity and help execute seasonal, holiday, and other planned promotional efforts with accuracy and strong follow-through.
• Turn Reporting into Action. Track and report campaign performance on a recurring basis, explain what changed, and surface recommendations for continued optimization.
• Coordinate the Work. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver campaigns and promotions, keeping timelines, inputs, and open issues organized.
• Stay Ahead of the Channel. Monitor e-commerce advertising trends and evolving practices so the team can test useful ideas rather than rely on inherited assumptions.
• Improve the Machine. Look for practical ways to improve campaign workflows, reporting, documentation, and recurring e-commerce marketing processes.

• Organized Execution. You can keep multiple campaigns, promotions, and follow-ups moving without losing track of what needs attention.
• Clear Communication. You can explain performance, issues, and recommendations in a way that helps other people make decisions and move the work forward.

What It Takes

• Demonstrated hands-on experience managing paid digital, performance-marketing, or e-commerce advertising campaigns where data informs day-to-day optimization.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort using spreadsheets for analysis and reporting.
• The ability to interpret campaign performance, identify meaningful changes, and make or recommend appropriate optimizations.
• Strong organization and attention to detail across budgets, promotions, reporting, and recurring deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners.
• Self-direction, follow-through, and the judgment to know when to act independently and when to escalate.

What Sets You Apart

You'll have a head start if you've worked with e-commerce or retail-media advertising, keyword-driven PPC campaigns, seasonal promotional calendars, or recurring campaign-performance reporting. Experience finding and testing new approaches to improve paid performance is especially useful.

A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or a related area can provide a useful foundation, but demonstrated campaign-management ability, analytical thinking, and execution matter more than a particular credential.

• The specialist contributes useful ideas that improve advertising performance or make recurring marketing work more effective.
