About the Role:
Karing Hearts Home Health is looking for a compassionate and skilled Per Diem RN to join our Home Infusion team in Riverside, CA. This is a flexible, rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by delivering expert infusion therapy right in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities:
Administer IV infusion therapies including antibiotics, TPN, chemotherapy, and hydration in patient homes
Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor responses to infusion treatments
Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and safety protocols
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team
Manage and troubleshoot IV access devices including PICCs, ports, and central lines
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of infusion medications and supplies
Requirements:
Active California RN license in good standing
Minimum 1-2 years of IV/infusion therapy or home health nursing experience preferred
Proficiency in PICC line and central venous catheter care
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication, time management, and patient education abilities
Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation required
CPR/BLS certification required
